A woman who works with her hands is a LABORER; a woman who works with her hands and head, a CRAFTSMAN; but a woman who works with her hands, her head and her heart is an ARTIST. ~ St. Francis of Assisi

covered in paint

My hands are covered in paint
My jeans are covered in paint
That was last night today my pjs are covered in paint.
There is paint on my cell phone
there is paint in my hair and up my nose  um there is no paint up my nose.  I don't pick my nose LOL The paint is ON my nose.  There is paint on my lap top and there is paint on the cat.  He should not have jumped on that table at that particular moment.
There is ink on toes and E6000 on my fingers.
I am working on my altered book.  I better stop or there wont be any pages left for my partners!

Memorable cards

I saved these for some reason.  They were not special at the time but became special.  I usually do not save cards but I am super glad I saved these.

the above card came from my grandma she passed away when I was 11.

The above card came from Bill my step Dad.  This January it will be 20 years since he passed away.

The above card came from my hombres when I lived on DeSoto Dr.  I wonder what their life is like.  I never could imagine at the time I would be in South Carolina.  So far away from Cincinnati Ohio

Triptych ATC I put together for a swap

I was inspired by this journal page I found on the internet.  I wish I could give the artist credit but I dont remember where it came from.

I also did an Alice in Wonderland one

I used this picture I found the the www and resized it to fit 3 atc. I printed on a laser jet printer.  This technique will not work on a ink jet.  I think it will work on a copier and some magazine prints.   I put Packing tape on it, I cut it into the three pieces and submerged it in water.  I pulled each piece out and rubbed the back of the paper off.  The toner stuck to the tape.  There was enough sticky left to adhere to the ATC forms.  I have also used gel matt and it drys super clear on it.  The ATC forms were left over pieces from the card I made for my cousin birthday in October.  I made a huge 12x12 sheet on glossy card stock using alcohol inks.   I used only green blue and silver inks.
I gave Alice a better smile.  Heck she wasnt smiling at all but now she looks like she smiling evilly LOL

Here is the original picture I got from the www.

If you were to talk to this dog right at the time of this photo he would tell you I was abusing him by making him stay out side.

What a whinny critter!

todays haul

New camera bag

with the cover flipped over

old camera bag

from hobby lobby
The bag needs a different handle.  I think I can put grommets and make a longer one.  It is not big enough to fit my paper but if I left it unzipped it will work just fine.  It was 50% off cant beat that!

From walmart.  Yes I took a picture of my cat litter LOL

over priced dog food

cat litter only found at pet smart

books and free stuffed animal
Here is the link to what this poor guy is going to turn into LOL

Best quote of the night

If you are speeding with a safe hanging out of your trunk chances are you are up to no good.

So I spent 6.10 for magazines.  Hmmm nothing peculiar with that right?  Wrong!  When the magazines are .10 each thats 61 magazines!  The library was getting rid of old issues and I got tons for collage.

Teesha Moore style here I come LOL.
