A woman who works with her hands is a LABORER; a woman who works with her hands and head, a CRAFTSMAN; but a woman who works with her hands, her head and her heart is an ARTIST. ~ St. Francis of Assisi

Batik

So I was surfing along on the waves of the internet and came across a pinterst pin that lead me to this www site
http://suzyssitcom.com/top-10-crafts-for-2013

I love #1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and almost wish I could quilt #8

Anyway this post is about # 5
http://suzyssitcom.com/2011/04/feature-friday-making-batik-fabric-with-crayons.html

This one takes some serious involvement.  I realized I do have a griddle and I might try it one day.

There are two types... one on fabric and one on paper.  I have a mixture of both and would like to try both.

Here are some other links that I found for future ideas
